Machu Picchu (bahasa Quechua Machu Pikchu, "Gunung Tua"; it is also called "Kota Inca yang hilang") it is the ruins of Inca pra-columbus which located in mountainous region. Machu Picchu is located on Urubama valley at Peru.  It was the most famous symbol of Inka kingom. It built around 1450 but had been leaving 100 years after that when Spanyol conquered it. This had oblivious by the world until an archeologist from university of Yale Hiram found it on 1911. Since that time, this site become famous and many visitors came to visit it.

Machu Picchu was built in ancient style of Inka with polished brick. The main building is Intihuatana, “Sun” temple, and a room with three windows. Those places are called as sacred distric from Machu Picchu.

Since 1983, this site was chosen by UNESCO as one of the world heritage, and it is also chosen as one of the newest 7 wonders of the world. It had taken big attention because of the damage causes by the visitor (on 2003, more than 400.000 people come to visit this site).
